A big tree. A tight space.
A twenty-metre pine above the roof. A plane tree in a courtyard no vehicle can reach. Dead branches over the path the children use. Often there seems to be only one answer: a huge platform, or take the whole thing down.
- Difficult accessEnclosed gardens, courtyards, slopes and walls: places platforms can't reach.
- Very tall treesThe real problems are often high up, where they can't be seen from the ground.
- The fear of fellingA worrying branch doesn't mean the tree has to go.

Climb up. Look closely. Cut only what’s needed.
With tree climbing, the arborist enters the crown on ropes and professional positioning systems, reaching exactly where the work is, seeing the tree up close and intervening only where it is needed — no crane or platform required.
- 01Assess
Understand the tree before cutting: its structure, its health, and what's beneath the crown.
- 02Climb
Rope access even on very tall trees and in spaces machines can't reach.
- 03Do just enough
Proportionate cuts, controlled lowering of branches, and what can be kept, stays.
Nine services, one method
01Tree pruningSelective, proportionate cuts — including on tall trees and in hard-to-reach spaces.

James, arborist
I'm an English arborist with more than ten years' experience across the UK, Canada and Germany. I now work in Rome, in English and Italian, combining tree climbing with European tree-management standards and, where possible, battery tools and bio-based oils to reduce noise and impact.
I work in Rome and up to about 60 km out: the Castelli Romani and the rest of Lazio. For jobs further afield, just ask.

Let's talk about your tree
The quickest way: send a few photos of the tree and the space around it on WhatsApp, with the area it's in. I'll reply with a first assessment and, if needed, we'll arrange a site visit.
